Great to have a full complement of teaching staff!

Our most recent member of staff is Enie Tshuma, who joined us in April, this year. She is a wonderful warm teacher and person.
She has very quickly become a part of the Eagle's Nest family! Her class are obviously very happy and settled with her, after the rocky start at the beginning of the year.

Grade 4 children

Can't believe it - in Grade 7

It was amazing as I entered Grade 7 class today  to remember that these young people were our first Grade R class in 2006, in one room in a church in Wallacedene.
Now they are preparing to graduate and enter the new world of High School education - they are leaving the nest! Thank you for all who support them and other children in the school every month. Your support does not go unnoticed or appreciated.
THANK YOU - THANK YOU- THANK YOU- THANK YOU- THANK YOU- THANK YOU

A new little Moses

Welcome to Eagle's Nest family Tyrone Inam Moses, born on Monday morning, 2 days after Chamelle went on maternity leave! We are all longing to meet him.

Major lessons in faith!

Have you ever felt that God has a really big lesson to teach you and that it might not be that comfortable? - that has been our situation for the past two months!
Thank you, God, that you have once again proved MORE THAN ABLE to supply all our needs in Christ Jesus!
On the 15th of the month, which is our salary day, there was definitely not enough money to even pay half the staff's salaries. I have had to get to the place where I accept I am not God -haha- and this is His business.
I walked into the staff devotions and the worship lifted me almost into heaven. These were men and women who had not received their well-earned and needed money, praising Him with everything they have.
Today, 6 days late, as a result of two very generous donations from unexpected sources, I paid all the salaries in full! God did it again. We are going to mark November 2012 as a landmark in the history of Eagle's Nest so we always look to Him in time of need! knowing He can and will.

New classrooms arriving

This was supposed to be the red letter day for the school! I was there at 7:15 am to make sure anything that was needed was in place.
9:45 they had not arrived and I had to leave for an appointment. When I returned, the first container had arrived but they discovered that the builders put the foundations in the wrong place so now we must wait till they correct them.
Here are pictures of the first two at the site. Nhoto Tika was sampling my office space!
Thank you to Makhi Dyani from Spazatainer who is doing a great job and praying he will be able to get this sorted quickly!

Paypal it is

Our paypal account is now really working and linked to our bank account. We received our first donation today from China!!

Urgent request

We have been struggling to connect with prospective sponsors of children in the school.
As a result, we have been unable to pay full salaries to our teachers this month. If you know of people who want to invest in the future of our wonderful country by making a small monthly contribution to the education of an underpriveleged child, please introduce them to us and direct them to the website .
We are now linked to Paypal so payments have become even more simple.
