First day of term

What an exciting day for teachers and children alike. After our long holiday, we re-opened for the first term of 2012. There were very few absentees and the children greeted their teachers with hugs like old friends.

60 little Grade R children were ready to learn, dressed in their new uniforms, some still a bit too big for them, but they were keen to get started!

Grade 3-6 classes had to attend in the afternoon, as we still await new classrooms. There were very few complaints, even from the parents of these children.

Mr Sibanda(Grade 5) and Mrs Sikim (Grade 2) fitted into the staff well and tackled their new classes with vigour.
